Why Mormonism Isn't Christian Part 2

Mormons do not believe that the Bible is the infallible repository for redemptive revelation. In their view it's the Book of Mormon that is the most correct of any book on earth. Not only so, but in Christianity Jesus is the self-existent Creator of all things while in Mormonism he is the spirit-brother of Lucifer who was conceived in heaven by a celestial mother and came in flesh as a result of the Father having sex with the virgin Mary.

I listened to your show until I heard an incredibly incomplete episode about the Book of Abraham. Recently I ran across this summary that Mormon's aren't Christians, and it just confirmed that this show is in it for the money, not the truth. That is probably why you over-emphasize so much to your listeners that they should purchase your writings on these various topics.

The famous saying that ignorance is bliss is exemplified with this show. I can't imagine you ever bringing on a credible source to discuss anything about the LDS church, because it might not sell as many copies of your books.

I recommend that you go to the byubroadcasting.org Web site and listen to a few of the series, whether the topic be on the bible, Book of Mormon, etc. There you will be able to listen to real scholars that don't base their teachings on what they read about in the latest book sold to make somebody rich. They teach the true doctrine the way Christ intended it to be taught - without fabrication to exalt yourself.

I have casually studied mormonism for several years, lived near Salt Lake City in the early nineties and was engaged to a mormon. The truth is that mormons are good people and sincere concerning their beliefs. To believe something does not make it true. Here are just a few reasons why mormons are not Christians.
1. They believe "as man is, God once was, and as God is, man may become." Just using common sense rules this belief out. Who created the first man who then became a god who then created more men who then became gods who then created .... This belief is utter nonsense in that it relegates God to a created being and why would you want to worship a created being?
2. The mormons believe that works, ie., mission trips, temple cerimonies, geneaology research, and baptism for the dead places them in better standing with God. It is a "do" religion as opposed to the Christian religion of "done". Christ did everything that was needed to ensure our salvation. We "do" things because of our devotion to Him, not to ensure our salvation.
3. There has not been a shred of archeaological evidence to substantiate mormon bible stories, while God's Word has had countless proofs to validate its authenticity.
I could go on and on, but this kind of verbal sparring rarely accomplishes any thing. I have spoke to mormons and even worked for mormons and live next door to a mormon church. The common thread in all of my experiences with them is that they get extremely angry when they feel their faith is being attacked. This is also common among other cults. An authentic Christian however will only be saddened when his beliefs are attacked, because we know that you are not attacking us personally, but the Savior in whose blood lies perfect redemption for all mankind. I challenge every mormon I encounter to pray to the God of the Holy Bible to open their eyes to the truth. If they are truly sincere, He will show them the deception of mormonism.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree. I think that a less casual study of the LDS church may help you clarify the misconceptions that you have. I don't expect everyone to believe in the truth - the plan was created so that people could have their agency to study and learn the truth for themselves. I do know that the LDS church is the true church, and that the reply by "anonymous" is as unscholarly and incomplete as most other LDS critics viewpoints. If you would like to learn what we really believe, as I mentioned, I would recommend that you learn from the church members, since your claims are easily explained in person. Bring your bible too!!

I have brought my Bible to many encounters over the years with mormons. In my experiences it does not work because mormons believe that their own bible is most reliable. I can't remember the exact passage but the book of mormon clearly states that God is unchanging and the one and only God. This is in agreement with the Holy Bible. If you are to believe your own book then all the "revelations" of your "prophets" must be discarded. If God does not change, then why is poligamy not a church norm, or how is it that black people are now accepted into your church. The early "prophets" of your church claimed to have had revelations from God concerning these matters. Other "prophets" came along and said that they had further revelations from God that poligamy was wrong and black people could be welcomed into the church. Sounds to me like mormons do not believe in their own bible. The true Bible says that God is "the same, yesterday, today and forever." The Old Testement is the New Testement veiled. The New Testement is the Old Testement revealed. Remember, for a prophet to be a true prophet all of his prophetic words must come true. The Holy Bible is the only book that contains writings from true prophets consummating in the greatest of prophets Jesus Christ. Conduct your own "prophet tests" on the mormon prophets and you will see that they were not really prophets at all. If you would just allow yourself to step outside of the teachings you have had since you were a child, and sincerley seek out the God of the Holy Bible you will find the truth. I too was raised in church and "brainwashed" to a certain extent. I stepped completely away from everything I had been taught for about ten years and sincerely sought God seperate from any outside influence. It led me to the Holy Bible being the only authoritive word from God and to my Saviour Jesus Christ which subsequently transformed my life from the inside out. Are you really sure you want to place your eternal destiny into a belief system or are you going to place your trust in Jesus Christ as the redeemer of your soul? There is no other way. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me." Nothing we do will gain us acceptance into heaven except a kneeling at the cross. My prayer is that you would embark on a quest for the truth. Don't believe your so-called "witness" for the devil himself can appear as an angel of light and will deceive many.

I hope that you don't take my comments as being in condescending to your convictions. I really am happy that you acknowledge your own relationship with Jesus Christ.

To clarify, I was born Catholic and attended various non-denomination churches growing up. I have a very real, indisputable witness that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that the prophets of the restoration were/are called of God. I don't expect everyone to be prepared right now to receive this truth, but I do know that if you ask the God that you consider your Heavenly Father, he will answer your prayers about this truth. I can promise you that if you deny the LDS church, you can analyze your heart and motives in your prayer and realize that now maybe isn't your time. This doesn't mean that your not loved by our Heavenly Father.

As for your claims about the church, all I can say is that there is so much more to these facts. The fact that you call the Book of Mormon our bible shows me how little you know about us. I would be interested for you to study some of the teachings of LDS BIBLICAL scholars. You can find talks and programs at www.byubroadcasting.org. They are not only biblical scholars, but also religious scholars that can teach you about the Book of Mormon also.

It was the claim of a Baptist, anti-mormon nurse that I worked with that got me most interested in the LDS church. She spoke negatively about he church and gave me pamphlets that contained claims similar to yours, all of which I disproved. I have spoken to her since joining the church, and I have been able to teach her wonderful truths that she once denied.

When you are ready, the Lord will bless you to know these truths.

Nick, I find it very interesting that you attack Hank Hanegraaff’s motives for exposing the false teachings of the LDS church as being ‘for his profit,’ yet you keep directing us to a certain website to ‘find out the truth.’
Why can’t we turn your construct around and just as legitimately claim that you, people you know, or people you revere must be making money from the website you’re promoting? I haven’t visited the site, but even if it’s “free,” someone is profiting from it.

Also, you claim that you’ve been able to “disprove” the negative facts –I believe you referred to them as “claims”- about the LDS church, and you’ve been able to teach her about “all the wonderful truths she once denied.” If that’s the case, why aren’t you able to refute anything as simple as the observation that The Pearl of Great Price was used to keep blacks from entering the priesthood and –according to your theology- attain godhood?
And why did it take a threat from the federal government before Mormon president Wilford Woodruff received a “revelation” about ending earthly polygamy?
And as for charges of “unscholarly and incomplete misconceptions,” maybe you should mention that Sandra Tanner, the great-great granddaughter of Brigham Young. She escaped the LDS church and now runs a Christian outreach ministry to teach Mormons. She’s one of the leading authorities on the Mormon church.

Nick, instead of saying, ‘No, you’re wrong. Go to my website for the truth,’ how about you just answer the questions?

Contention is of the devil, and I will not be a part of it.

I think it is great that Hank is making a good living. I never attacked his career, I only stated that I think it is wrong to be unfair in the way that people do not show both sides, especially when the things being said are so far from the truth and so easy to clarify.

Now when it comes to BYUBroadcasting.org, it seems like common sense to me to go to a CREDIBLE source for information on the LDS church if you want to learn about the LDS Church. It seems clear to me that you don't want to learn anything about the LDS church. You would prefer to try to teach false teachings instead. From somebody who has gone through the opposition in learning about the church, I can tell you that it is not an effective use of my time. There is too much to teach about Jesus Christ and our Salvation, so there is no time to focus on the ignorant claims about the history of the church. If you want those answers, I suggest you research them for yourself. You now have a good Web site as a source.

As for Sandra Tanner, I heard her on Hank's show a few weeks ago, and again - incomplete and unscholarly. It is sad that people don't research further on the opposite side to try to clarify.

If you want to learn, please rely on the Lord and don't be so stubborn. The truth is easy, and just because you don't understand the bible completely doesn't mean you can't learn more. We are supposed to live by every word that proceeds forth from the mouth of God, right? The Book of Mormon is the word of God, and it will strengthen your testimony of the Savior.

I invite you to take the lessons with the LDS missionaries, and I can promise you, as I did hundereds of people on my mission, that if you open your heart and really try to learn, you will learn the truth of the gospel. I have seen protestant ministers convert, and people of all faiths. Why, because the gospel of Jesus Christ is being taught in it's pure form, not a defense of polygamy. That will not lead to salvation.

I know that my testimony is founded on truth, confirmed by the Holy Ghost. You can't deny that. You haven't even tried to learn, and by your postings, that is clear. When you do your research, not trusting in the arm of flesh, you too will be converted if you put your trust in God and do as he prompts you to do.

Since this will be my last entry since this isn't going anywhere, I want to state something bolder than I normally would. I think that you're a coward and you are blinded by the false teachings of man. It is ignorance that keeps you from wanting to learn more, and you will not receive the blessings of the gospel until you overcome this weakness, repent of your sins, and follow the example of what the Savior wants His people to do. Jesus Christ said, "He that is not with me is against me." Right now you are fighting against the Lord, and you will be in my prayers so that you can figure these things out.

I really do wish the best for you, for Hank, for everyone - because I do believe that we are all brothers and sisters spiritually. Christ suffered and died for all of us, not just for a congregation or two. He has already overcome sin and death for us, we just need to seek his grace and atonement. People claim that we believe that works will save us. This is a false statement. We believe that the grace of God will save us, after all we can do. Christians believe that receiving Christ is salvation. Well, if you can tell me that it doesn't take work to accept Christ, then one of us is confused. It is hard to change our ways and turn to the Lord. It is work to let go of the things that weaken us spiritually.

Onward.

Contention is of the devil, and I will not be a part of it.
This is best translated as, “I’m unable to refute the facts, so I’ll claim discussion is ‘demonic.’”
But most of all, I like how you refuse to be contentious, then go on to call me an ignorant coward. LOL!

As for Sandra Tanner, I heard her on Hank's show a few weeks ago, and again - incomplete and unscholarly. It is sad that people don't research further on the opposite side to try to clarify.
Um, so Sandra Tanner, the great-great-granddaughter of Brigham Young, the woman who spent her whole life studying, believing in, and finally realizing and rejecting the distortions of biblical Christianity contained in Mormonism…is unscholarly and hasn’t ‘reasearched enough’? Um, okaaaay.

If you want to learn, please rely on the Lord and don't be so stubborn.
Oh, I do rely on the Lord, my friend. I do. He’s condescended to reveal Himself to me through his “God-breathed” Word, as in, the Bible.

Unlike you, I can rely on something that has been written by eyewitnesses to his majesty, and has been found time and time again by historians and archaeologists to be completely accurate and credible. You see, you have to rely on a subjective feeling of “burning in your bosom” for the “truth.” Well, let me introduce you to the fact that feelings are deceptive, my friend. One of us is relying on the Lord. And one of us on his esoteric feelings.

But rest assured you’re in the right place. There’s a reason you’re here on Hank’s blog and Christians like me are trying to witness to you and bring you out of your cult. Because God wants you to know He’s never far from you and has placed you where you can reach out to Him and grasp Him (Acts 17:27).

Nick, I hope that you continue to listen to Hank and others who want to help you see the truth. I’m praying for you, my friend.

I do appreciate your sincerity, and the truth is, I feel the same as you. I think that we each have a conviction about our beliefs, which are impossible to clearly explain in a blog.

I believe that the LDS church is the true church that the Lord has restored on earth. I believe that Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, and today, Gordon B. Hinckley are true prophets of God - just like Moses and Abraham (who even though having more than one wife, carried the name of one of the most important biblical covenants).

I would be willing to IM with you online sometime and discuss some of the great teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. If you want, we can set up a time to do it - under the condition that we do not bash each other, but build on what we both believe. I can answer relevant questions that you have about the LDS church, or we can just talk about what we believe about the gospel. That's the method I think the Lord would be pleased with.

Let me know what you think. If you want to have an online discussion, you can contact me at ldsclarity@gmail.com.

anon,

are you saying that the only way to know the truth is by reading the bible? how do you know the bible is true?

no historians or archeologists have proven the spiritual elements of the bible to be true ie the existence of god, the ressurrection of christ, and various other miracles. most of them don't believe in those things. many believe that the ancient middle eastern setting is no more indicative of the truth of the gospel than the ancient american setting is to the truth of the book of mormon. they are merely historical contexts that religious folk used to set their fictional stories.

and which bible anyway. i was an LDS missionary in italy - their standard bible says, in the book of job - "that though my skin wither away, yet without my flesh i shall see god" - the king james version reads "in my flesh." this isn't just a mistranslation, since most catholics don't believe in a physical ressurrection.

what about the additional books contained in the catholic canon?

how can you put your trust in a group of men who lived a few centuries after christ's death - in a city in a country which persecuted and killed the apostles and followers of christ. these people took roman pagan beliefs and molded them with true christianity, thereby corrupting it. they replaced the goddess diana and replaced her with mary. now they pray to her - and yet you still think catholics are more christian than mormons!

the bible didn't exist as a self contained book starting with genesis and ending in revelation until centuries after christ. the wording about "not adding to or taking away from the words of this book" could not have apploed to the bible when the book of revelation was written!

why do you deny the true power and omnipotence of god. the way to "know" the truth is to go directly to him, in faith, nothing wavering, and he will REVEAL the truth to you.

Jack, your dogmatic statement above tells me that without a doubt, you are biblically as well as historically and archaeologically illiterate. Sorry. I don’t know any other way to say it.

As I keep repeating, we can easily prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the Bible is divine rather than human in origin and once we do establish this, we can appeal to Scripture for our answers, don’t you agree? Have you ever actually read about and evaluated the archaeological evidence? How about the historical confirmation of the people, places, and events recorded in Scripture by credible extra-biblical secular historians like Josephus, Tacitus, Pliny the Younger, etc.? It’s pretty apparent you’re less into learning, researching, studying, and evaluating, and much more into making polemic statements which you can’t back up with evidence. How is this apparent? Well, your constant use of nebulous words like “they” and “them” to provide “proof” you know whereof you speak. Gee, “they” have all been telling me that “you” don’t know what you’re talking about! See, I just proved it thanks to “them”!

When the evidence undergirding the veracity of Scripture is examined in totality and we come to the most reasonable conclusion based on it, we can obviously know not only which God is true, but we can know His will for us. Simple as that.

… since most catholics don't believe in a physical ressurrection.

Jack, you are clueless.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church reiterates this long-defined teaching, stating, "We believe in the true resurrection of this flesh that we now possess' (Council of Lyons II). We sow a corruptible body in the tomb, but he raises up an incorruptible body, a 'spiritual body' (1 Cor 15:42-44)"

As for the rest of your post, there are so many historical, theological, and factual errors in it, I can’t spend the multiple hours it would take to correct them all. Please do yourself a favor and pick up Lee Strobel’s ‘The Case For Christ.’ It’s a wonderful primer on the Christian faith, and it will answer and refute most of your deeply-held objections to Christianity.

Also, Jack, you need to ask this question of yourself and honestly answer it: If someone could provide reasonable answers to your most significant questions and objections you have about Christianity–reasonable to the point that Christianity seems true beyond a reasonable doubt–would you then become a Christian? If your honest answer is no, then your objection to Christianity is either emotional or it is of your own free will (volitional)…but it’s not intellectual since you’ve just let everyone know that no amount of evidence will convince you because evidence is not your problem–you are. Only you know if you’re truly open to the evidence for Christ.

PS. If you give me your address, I will be happy to send you Strobel’s book for free. I’ll even pay for postage and everything. The issue is that important to me because, Jack, the choices you make today have consequences in eternity.
Send me an email at: truthputsitsbootson@gmail.com if you want the book.
Thanks.

Hi Mark,

I must admit, your comment seemed a little harsh. Not only did it seem like a personal attack, but you didn't even address the questions and comments that Jack wrote about. You attacked his comment about the physical resurrection stating that Catholics do believe in it, but you replied emphasizing that they do believe in a Spiritual Resurrection. In fact, here is a written statement from the New Advent Web site - "No doctrine of the Christian Faith", says St. Augustine, "is so vehemently and so obstinately opposed as the doctrine of the resurrection of the flesh" (In Ps. lxxxviii, sermo ii, n. 5).

Latter-day Saints DO believe in the physical resurrection. "Luke 24 makes it so clear that the Resurrection was physical: the tomb was empty, the body was gone, and then Christ appeared to His disciples and let them touch him to see that He was not just a spirit, but had flesh and bones. To drive the point home, to leave no doubt about His tangible resurrected state, He asked for food, and then ate fish and honeycomb in front of the group." (Web site, Jeff Lindsay) Not to mention Acts 1:11 says, "Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." The same way Christ went into heaven, He will return (with His body, he didn't just leave it). Another good reference is Matt. 27:52.

Do you think that Jack doesn't believe in the archaeological evidences of the Bible? Do you think that he doesn't study the Bible? His statements focused on proving some or various spiritual truths of the Bible. We have copies of copies of copies, and you know what, that is sufficient for Latter-day Saints (even though many spiritual things can't be proven).

Here is a statement by one of our Latter-day Prophets. President Joseph Fielding Smith taught, "The reason for the Bible's great influence for good is because it is inspired and contains the word of the Lord delivered to His prophets, who wrote and spake as they were moved upon by the Holy Ghost, since the world began." (Doctrines of Salvation, Volume 3, 184).

Stating that he is not into learning is maybe true, but I would guess that it is very false. That's your judgment call, but you may want to ask him what he studies, why, and if he would like to share with you. It's not ok to just be put others down.

Also, you mentioned that he had a lot of historical and factual errors that would take hours for you to correct. He only wrote 7 very short paragraphs, most of which I addressed in about 15 minutes. If there are any factual errors, I'm sure that any readers of this blog would benefit from further clarity, including myself. I love to learn, so I hope teaching is never held back.

Finally, that was a very kind offer to send Jack a copy of Lee Strobel's book. Jack, I would take him up on that, because it is actually really good. I have read a lot of it, and learned a lot. That's not to say that I wouldn't have a question or two if I ever met Mr. Strobel, but I did enjoy it.

I hope I hear from you soon. I think e-mailing has been great, and I look forward to your viewpoint on what I shared about the Godhead. If you would like to see more biblical references, I posted them on Hank's blog about Jesus being God.

Set your gaze on Christ and His Word, and leave it there.

A counterfeit is an imitation that is made usually with the intent to deceptively represent its content or origins (Wikipedia). How do you recognize counterfeits? Don’t you know a counterfeit by having studied the original so well that any variance stands out?

Read your Bible, the sword of the Spirit

The most dangerous lie is a half truth. Because it sounds true, you bite. Fishing is such a beautiful example of this. Lures and flies are created to imitate the prey and food so that you can entice a strike. The better your deception, the more success you have.

Read your Bible, the sword of the Spirit

Satan is the ultimate counterfeiter. He takes God’s Word and twists it. Read the whole account of the garden of Eden in Genesis 3 and notice what Satan says and how he says it. He doesn’t tell a bold face lie but instead wraps the lie up with a veil of truth. And it works. If he can instill even a little doubt or confusion about your understanding of God’s Word, then carefully replace it with his perversion of the truth, then he’s got you. Some of us have been caught in a Bait and Switch transaction. Sometimes we don’t realize we were caught until it’s too late.

Read your Bible, the sword of the Spirit

Mormons use the Bible as a Trojan Horse. If they can get you to trust them and sense that what they’re offering is love, friendship and good intent, then you will open up the gates and allow them to drag the Trojan Horse inside your mind. When you sleep, they open the doors and out come the enemy soldiers, twisting your knowledge of God’s Word, subverting its authority, diminishing its relevance, and replacing it with the Book of Mormon, the Pearl of Great Price, and any other heretical work. What’s so dangerous is that Satan will prey upon your emotions by trying to get you to feel the burning in your bosom, a physiological response to convince you to take the bait. Realize this is Satan’s doing. These Mormons are not that clever. The author of this is the great Deceiver himself. And remember, the Bible calls him the god of this age (II Corinthians 4:3,4). He offered Jesus kingdoms on this earth, wealth and power – the temptations of Christ (Matthew 4:8-9). See how powerful and wealthy the Mormon church has become in such a short time? Don’t be deceived into thinking this must be a work of God. What became of Christians during Christ’s time on earth and thereafter? Martyrdom right? We are in a grand spiritual battle and Satan is using all of his power to build principalities for attacking Christians. Satan cares little about God haters. They’re already his. He goes after would be Christians. That’s his target. And Mormonism does it part of telling their followers that they are the only true church. What do you think happens to former Mormons? They’ve had such a horrible view of the church that they disdain it. They’ve been taught to disdain it.

Read your Bible, the sword of the Spirit

Satan is a sheep stealer. Read about the parable of the seed in Mark chapter 4. Notice what happens to some of that seed (Mark 4:15). Remember the fable of Red Riding Hood? The wolf disguised himself as grandma - harmless, loving, and helpful. Outwardly Mormons will make many Christians look bad with the emphasis on works. But if you get to the foundation, you realize it’s a works-based foundation. The Christian faith can create a bunch of lazy, apathetic believers sadly, but the gospel is the celebration of the finished work of Christ. He accomplished on the Cross what we could not accomplish ourselves, redeeming us from the guilt and punishment of our sin, clothing us in His righteousness not our own, offering this free gift of salvation to anyone who will believe on Him. When you come to the end of yourself and lay it all down at the cross, then He takes up residence in your heart to be both Lord and Savior. We proceed from this salvation wholly under grace, offering our time and lives as a thank offering to him – not a work that will get a wage, but voluntary service to the One who has already paid your way. That’s why Christians in the real Church of Christ can be lazy. Because they fail to see how much Christ has done for them. When their eyes get opened to this, it is almost impossible to stop the outward flow of gratefulness for this unmerited favor. Such is the reason for Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:14-21 for those of us who believe.

Read your Bible, the sword of the Spirit

The Mormon belief system professes a different gospel than the one true gospel in the Holy Bible. The mormon cult teaches you can attain godhood - which is the epitomy of pride, ultimate blasphemy. Who would want to exalt themselves before the one true God? Mormon teaching identifies Jesus as the brother of Satan. That is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (Mark 3:20-30), the unforgivable sin. What partnership has light with darkness? They implore you to be super Mormons that you may participate in Temple activities and become privy to “secret knowledge.” That’s Gnosticism. All this stuff is plainly heretical for those who are generally familiar with the Bible. But those who don’t know their Bible well can be an easy target. I mean, they even go door to door in twos as the disciples did. I’m telling you. Satan has orchestrated one of the most powerful deceptions in these last days, that even the elect may be deceived, if that were possible (Matthew 24:24). And Satan doesn’t give up. Many Christian teachers have been enticed to preach from LDS pulpits and some have even accepted, forgetting the warning in II John verse 11. These teachers think they may reach some Mormons, but really they’re giving credibility to their cult and confusing weaker Christian believers. We are not to fellowship with those who bring “another gospel.”

Read your Bible, the sword of the Spirit

Unfortunately, many mormon converts began in Christian churches. They were led away while caught in a body of believers who let them down, who didn’t live up to their expectations, who hurt them. Sad, but Christians can get hurt by other Christians, sometimes unintentionally. Compound that pain with their lack of knowledge of God’s Word. This made them ripe for stealing! Now instead of spending hours studying the Original Word of God, they have been taught to despise it, and instead invest their time studying the counterfeit. As a result, the counterfeit has become to them the original and they are now blinded.

Read your Bible, the sword of the Spirit

Don’t waste your time, Mark, trying to win this guy Nick. Or any of you well meaning Christians. Nick’s attitude and spirit reflected in this banter is not of a truth seeker but of a sheep stealer. His goal: to lead baby Christians who read this site to wander away to read the counterfeit teachings of the LDS cult. That’s always been their goal. It’s their only weapon against the truth. And if they come across a stalwart Bible believing Christian, they’re going to pick his brain as much as possible to gear up for any future battles with other brave Christians. Put on the armor of God, you Christians! And don’t forget the sword of the Spirit – your weapon - which is the Word of God! Invest your time reading the Bible and you won’t have any trouble spotting a counterfeit.

Read your Bible, the sword of the Spirit

Mormon, you teach that a man can become a god! Blasphemy! There is but one God, and one alone from eternity to eternity! And you, Mormon, are not Him! Nor will you ever be! Joseph Smith’s vision came from the pit of Hell, a visitation with a demon, that produced one of Satan’s most powerful end time gambits. He has taken advantage of apostasy and apathy, the failings of Christians, and the weaknesses of men who love “secrets.” You think I’m being harsh Mormon? Am I being too harsh with you? Depends. Tender words are for the lost sheep, those who are seeking the Savior. Harsh words are for the wolves, those Mormons whose will is bent on leading astray Christians. Christ was always tenderhearted with those who were lost sheep, the seekers, but came down with wrath on false “teachers.” Remember the Pharisees? He called the Pharisees a brood of vipers. Why? Because they had influence over the people, preying on their ignorance, and their teachings would lead the people to Hell. When teachings can lead people to Hell, is there any reason not to drive these wolves away! The stakes are too high. Call them out! Cast them out!

Don’t entertain these LDS cultists. They carry on Satan’s work. Don’t be apart of it. Don’t even entertain them. Read the warning in II John verse 11.

“As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:9.

To you believers and truth seekers, the following homework: Read the book of Galatians. Learn how to use your sword!

Read your Bible!

My Comment is to Nick, from Pam

I don't understand why you would not believe Jesus Christ as in the Bible, the one we are suppose to be following but you rather believe what Joseph Smith is telling you? Isn't Jesus Christ why we are Christians? Why wouldn't you believe the writings of his apostle's (words that came from his own mouth) which were with him while he was teaching. I do not claim to know the bible inside & out. I do know that they basically no matter what version you use say the same thing when translated. I have studied pretty much every day of my life for the last 20 + years to learn the truth about Christianity. I have not limited my studies to only Christianity but to other religions as well. I am now in my 50's. In my 30's I converted to Catholicism and attended a year of classes to learn about that religion. Catholics do believe in the same essential doctorine, the Bible as Non-Demoninational Christians. I was born in SLC, UT, babtized Mormon & raised in the LDS Church. My family were Mormon Pioneers that followed Joseph Smith and settled many town's & Cities in Utah. I don't believe that the LDS Church is the true Church. Us "Christians" don't have a "True Church" we have Faith and most of us hopefully have a relationship with our Lord & Savior, Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ. I have discovered that most Mormon's don't know that what they believe is different than other "Christians" or even know that they don't believe in the trinity(God is the Holy Spirit and Jesus as one)as we Christians do.

Hopefully you will be released from the stronghold that the Mormon Church has upon you to know the truth because if not you will not have a chance after you die as the Mormon's believe.

Even in the most sexually liberated and self-satisfied of nations, many people still yearn to burn more, to feel ready for bedding no matter what the clock says and to desire their partner of 23 years as much as they did when their love was brand new.
The market is saturated with books on how to revive a flagging libido or spice up monotonous sex, and sex therapists say “lack of desire” is one of the most common complaints they hear from patients, particularly women.
